A major OEM was looking for a Engineering Project Manager and Nuclear quality Engineer for a new venture business.
They struggled to find the nuclear experience for the engineer.
I had a candidate who was an internationally experienced nuclear QM and had mega project management experience.
He was offered and accepted the role as PM with responsibility of nurturing a Quality Engineer to nuclear standards.
This gave the client a very experienced team member to help drive the projects forward, whilst at the same time being able to use his nuclear experience to teach and guide less knowledgeable members of the team.
The client was extremely pleased with the outcome and had not thought of looking to resolve the nuclear experience required in this way.
